Surrattsville High School Clinton, Maryland October 13, 1947
Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists 90 Nassau Street Princeton, New Jersey
Gentlemen:
If you have any literature available for distribution suitable for high school study of atomic research and its implications, will you send me what you have for use in the classes at Clinton? We are attempting only to acquaint students with the most obvious aspects of the problems specifically connected with atomic fission, necessarily so because of the narrow limits of one own understanding. Whatever material you are able to send will be circulated among the faculty members for use in various classes. Sincerely, Irene Hobard
