Dear Professor Einstein:

Thanks you for your letter and very generous comments regarding the little contribution I made, which was acknowledged by receipt number 8085, March 25, 1947.
It is my desire to contribute more in money and in other ways. You see, my wife's cousin married John Wheeler. Besides our own son worked 1 1/2 years at Oak Ridge for Tennessee Eastman Corp. in process improvement. He is now wasting his time in the Navy, after completing one year at M.I.T. and one year at Cal. Tech. He will be 20 in November. His field of interest is nuclear physics. I worked 2 1/2 years for the U.S. Engineer Office, Manhattan District and 1 1/2 in the Army Air Corps, at San Bernardino, Calif.
Besides I teach classes in Public Relations and American Government. About 160 students, 2/3 of which are veterans. We all want to help your committee a lot and soon.
           Respectfully yours,
              Paul K. Walp

P.S. A form letter and more information on your Committee's program will, I believe, enable me to raise more money. If your office can send such data, we'll do our utmost.
