Dr. Einstein DAVID PHILIPSON 712 GHOLSON AVE. CINCINNATI, OHIO
June 17, 1946
Dr. Albert Einstein, Princeton, N.J.
Dear Dr. Einstein:
This morning's mail brought me the appeal of the Emergency Committee of the Atomic Scientists, of which you are the Chairman. The appeal impressed me very much. In answer to it, I am enclosing a check for Twenty-five ($25.00) dollars. I regret very much that I cannot make it very much more. The work in which you are engaged is so important to the welfare of humanity that everyone must be impressed by the im-portance of the task you have undertaken. You are very great asset to humanity and to our faith.
with deep appreciation of the fine service you have been rendering, I am,
Faithfully yours, David Philpson Rabbi Emeritus [illegible] Encl. DP:MH
