MAY 16 RECD
CRANBROOK SUMMER INSTITUTE BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MICHIGAN
May 12, 1947.
Dr. Albert Einstein, Chairman Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists 90 Nassau Street Princeton, New Jersey
Dear Sir:
About the middle of March we wrote you inquiring about the policy of your Committee in helping groups who wish to discuss the implications of living in an atomic age. We were especially interested in knowing if your campaign of education included supplying speakers who could lead discussions, or if you would recommend capable speakers.
Since our letter has not yet been answered, and the opening date of the Cranbrook Summer Institute is a little over a month away, we are rather anxious to know if it will be possible for us to continue our plans for such a series of discussions.
Very truly yours, William Schultz, Jr. Co-Director, Cranbrook Summer Institute
