My dear Dr. Urey:
I am grateful to you for sending me the Bulletin of The Atomic Scientists. It is, indeed, a source of deep satisfaction to me to feel that I can be even so small a part of this work, which on its practical side, should be the greatest source of good to mankind ever to have come into its hands and, on the side of abstract knowledge, opens up such
