Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists Nassau Tavern, Princeton, N.J. (sent to N.Y. Office first and relayed by telephone
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE NCASAE respectfully PROPOSES THAT THOSE TRUSTEES UNABLE TO SUPPORT ATOMIC ENERGY PROGRAM TO FULLEST EXTENT SHOULD WITHDRAW IN FAVOR OF NEW MEMBERS ABLE TO WORK ENERGETICALLY AND ENTHUSIASTICALLY. THERE IS AMPLE EVIDENCE OF PUBLIC INTEREST AND CONTINUED NEED FOR BASIC ATOMIC EDUCATION AS WELL AS FOR SOLUTION OF THE ATOMIC ENERGY PROBLEM. IN PAST YEAR ECAS HAS HAS BEEN VERY EFFECTIVE. THIS WORK MUST BE CONTINUED.
