My dear Dr. Einstein,
Thank you for the courtesy of your letter. I do much wish that I were in a position to offer you substantial aid in your endeavor to raise money for the education of the world toward a more full realization of the importance of atomic power. I do send, however, what I can in the hope that it may help somewhat in this purpose.
