Bernhard M.Bouman-- 25 Canterbury Road Great Neck, N.Y. June 18, 1946
Albert Einstein, Chairman Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists Room 28, First National Bank Building 90 Nassau Street, Princeton, N.J.
Dear Dr. Einstein:
I have received your letter of June 15 in regard to your program of awakening America to the realization of the seriousness of the present world crisis largely precipitated by releasing the power of the atom and its use for destruction. My income from a pension is but a modest one, and some portion of it has gone to help the homeless and starving people in Europe. However, I am very glad to add my bit to your program. May God's Grace be on these efforts and on those of others seeking world peace. Faithfully yours Bernhard Bouman Enclosure: Check $50.00 Send article
