Gentlemen,

  A friend who serves in the ministry told me of your work to inform your countrymen of the true nature of the atomic problem.  I was deeply impressed by Doctor Einstein's letter to our clergymen.  
  I would like to know more about this danger to our people.  I spent four years helping with the recent problem in Europe and the Pacific and I would not like to see a new generation of soldiers sent into action if it can be avoided through understanding our problems and removing the causes of war.  
  I would appreciate any information you might give me on this subject.  I am in a good position to pass along your information to many business men and youth organizations.
