  For use in connection with the admirable work of the Emergency Committee of Atomic Scientists I enclose herewith a check for five dollars.
  I would be interested, both as a student preparing for diplomatic work and as president of the International Relations Club of this college, in the progress of your committee.  The general education of the public in matters of atomic energy and its socio-political implications is of the utmost importance to this nation and the world.
