THE CHOATE SCHOOL WALLINGFORD, CONNECTICUT
October 2nd, 1946
Dear Miss Fry:
Thank you for your cordial letter. The regular meetings of our Current History Club cone on Wednesday evening at half past eight. It would probably be possible to change the time to Tuesday evening if that would be much better for a speaker, and we should try to drop everything in order to hear the one right man on the whole subject of atomic energy, whether he could come weekdays or Sundays, morning, noon, or night!
Wednesday evening is definitely the best time in our School program. October 10th and 23rd, and November 20th will probably be free - those dates have been offered to one man. December 4th is at present definitely free. If it did not prove possible to get the right man this fall, we could plan on a Wednesday evening in January, after the tenth of the month.
I may have said before that the audience for such a talk would probably include a hundred of our older boys, fifteen to seventeen, and members of our Faculty.
Thank you warmly for your interest and your help. Yours sincerely, George St. John, Jr.
