I am sorry to have waited so long before sending my contribution and sorry also that it is not a larger sum. I may be in a position to support your efforts more generously the next time that you request funds, and I hope that you will not neglect to call on me when the time comes. If you could know how deeply I feel on the matter of war and the control of atomic energy and how much I try in my daily contacts with people to awaken in them the same interest and concern, perhaps you would not judge my faith in your purpose by my small gift.
