Dear Mr. Einstein,
In response to your appeal I want to say that I am feeling very sad, for I can do so little in the face of such great work but I have sent your eloquent and much deserving plea to someone whom I think can be of more service to your cause than I.
I am enclosing my cheque for [illegible] dollars with the hope that [illegible] to spread even a little your warning to the world before it is too late ---and [illegible] that you believe me in making you the greatest success.
Very sincerely,
Frances M. McGill (Mrs. J. Nota McGill)
