Inventory

Note regarding markings on inventory If an item number is underlined, an unknown number of nitrate negatives for that item number have been destroyed by time. Items marked DNP are WWII era and have a stamp from the US military on the reverse indicating that the prints were not to be published. The IR designation refers to Infrared, the type of film or emulsion used on some items. The abbreviation att.' means that the item contains pieces glued or taped together. The number in parenthese is the number of prints or negatives of the item described.
